La Nacional (Tapas, Chelsea)

Location:
239 W. 14th St.
north side of street, between 7th and 8th Ave

Cuisine:
Spanish Tapas

Hole in the wall tapas bar that apparently hosts flamenco dancing. Reminds me of the Ukrainian hole in the wall restaurant which I may or may not let you know about too.

Best paella I've had in the city, excellent tapas. The tapas bar that I went to (and forgot to post about, Tapas y Tapas) was decent, this one was just the sort of dive bar that you're willing to find.

I'll see if I can update this later, but I was not disappointed at all by the burgers at this restaurant. There are two locations, one in Murray Hill (the original location), and the one I tried, in the village.

The burgers are served mooing, the Murray's cheese special is so worth it. On the particular night that I went, we had this goat cheese that tasted like cheddar. I highly recommend it.
